More than that, I felt depressed when I got my essay back recently . I thought that my essay which I'd written in class on last Monday was good until I saw my classmate's essay (she's also Vietnamese). I regret looking at her essay coz after that I felt more upset. My teacher didn't give us grades like other essays we had done. He gave us plus marks for our good ideas in the essay and minus marks for vague ones. I got 2 minus marks, 2 plus marks and 2 minus n plus marks (which I don't know what it mean). I felt good (not happy tho) until seeing my friend's essay which had no minus marks and 9 plus marks (as I remembered). I know I envy her a bit because she did a good job. But now, thinking about that, I realize not only how childish I was (@-@), but also I find out my teacher wasn't strict like I though because he gave my classmate 9 plus marks for this in-class essay and an A for her previous essay. Therefore, I guess the reason is I didn't try my best because I always finished my essays at the last time or my teacher has the different mentally thinking from me (maybe a little bit). Either way, I noticed that I'd better focus on my writing skills instead of caring too much about others' essays. As my Math professor said 'put your works on it'. I will put effort on writing. Although I cannot make a great essay in one day, I will improve a lot and gain more experience after all.

Today is not a very good day for me I guess. Since I focused too much on my English speaking skill, I almost forget to enjoy my daily life. I know I sometimes habitually keep my eyes on my mistakes and try to figure it out. Therefore, life become harder for me because I tend to get a lot of negative thoughts. I want to fasten my speaking skill so much because it was kind of upset when I felt like I didn't improve after getting all the ESL courses and buying lot of books. Although I have been learning English since I was on fifth grade, I didn't speak English frequently in Vietnam. I have been speaking English regularly since I came to the U.S. Today, I stop talking about my struggling with speaking.
